Karl Segrell
Vice Admiral Karl Gustaf Segrell (16 June 1908 – 24 June 1976) was a Swedish Navy officer. Segrell senior commands included the posts of Paymaster General, Swedish Navy and head of the Swedish Naval Quartermaster Corps from 1963 to 1965 and as head of the Quartermaster Administration of the Swedish Armed Forces from 1965 to 1968. Early life Segrell was born on 16 June 1908 in Royal Karlskrona Admiralty Parish, Karlskrona, Sweden the son of Rikard Segrell, a head teacher, and his wife Gertrud Lindman. Karlskrona
Karlskrona (, , ) is a locality and the seat of Karlskrona Municipality, Blekinge County, Sweden with a population of 66,675 in 2018. It is also the capital of Blekinge County. Karlskrona is known as Sweden's only baroque city and is host to Sweden's largest naval base and the headquarters of the Swedish Coast Guard. Historically, the city has been home to a German minority, thus enabling the formation of a German Congregational church. It also counted Jewish people in its population. The Swedish Army Museum ( sv, Armémuseum) is a museum of military history located in the district of Östermalm in Stockholm. It reopened in 2002 after a long period of closure, and was awarded the title of the best museum of Stockholm in 2005. Its displays illustrate the military history of Sweden, including its modern policy of neutrality, and of the Swedish Army. Ängelholm Municipality (''Ängelholms kommun'') is a municipality in Scania County in South Sweden in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the city Ängelholm. Barkåkra Church ( sv, Barkåkra kyrka) is a church in , Ängelholm Municipality in the Swedish province Skåne (Scania).
