Karl Holz (executive)
Karl L. Holz is a former executive for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Karl Holz was President and CEO of Concession Air. Then he was a Knott's Berry Farm Vice President of theme park operations when he was hired into Disney in 1996. Holz was at one point senior vice president, Walt Disney World Operations. Appointed in 2003, he served as Disney Cruise Line president until his appointed as president of Euro Disney in September 2004. In May 2005, Holz took over as CEO at Euro Disney. Holz became president of New Vacation Operations of Disney Parks & Resorts reporting to Al Weiss, president of worldwide operations for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. by April 2008. Knott's Berry Farm
Knott's Berry Farm is a theme park located in Buena Park, California, owned and operated by Cedar Fair. In 2015, it was the twelfth-most-visited theme park in North America and averages approximately 4 million visitors per year. It features 40 rides including roller coasters, family rides, dark rides, and water rides. The park began in the 1923s as a roadside berry stand run by Walter Knott along State Route 39 in California. By the 1940s, a restaurant, several shops, and other attractions had been constructed on the property to entertain a growing number of visitors, including a replica ghost town. The site continued its transformation into a modern amusement park over the next two decades, and an admission charge was added in 1968.
