Karachi Northern Bypass
The M-10 motorway () or the Karachi Northern Bypass () is a two-lane 57 km motorway in Manghopir Town, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It connects the M-9 motorway to the Karachi Port, and provides an easy access to the transporters and to the commuters who can go directly to the Karachi port without entering the main arteries of city. Route The M-10 begins north of Karachi at the end of Muhammad Ali Jinnah Road, near the junction of the M-9 to which it is connected through a trumpet interchange. It then continues north for a few kilometers before turning west, where it forms an interchange with the Super Highway Link Road, Surjani Town Road, Hub Dam Road, Shahrah-e-Qaddafi, Orangi Link Road, Ittehad Town Road, and then N-25. The N-25 or National Highway 25 () is a 813 km national highway in Pakistan is a single-landed highway which extends along from Karachi in Sindh province to Pakistan's Chaman border with Afghanistan via Quetta in Balochistan province of Pakistan. The highway is also known as ''Regional Cooperation for Development Highway'' (RCD Highway) or notoriously known as ''Killer Highway''. In April 2025, Government of Pakistan announced that money saved from oil prices are being spent on making this a ''motorway standard'' highway. In the same month, government reiterated its commitment to improve this highway by investing Rs.300 billion. Lyari Expressway
Lyari (Urdu: ; ; Balochi: لێاری) is a historic locality in Karachi, Pakistan. It is the most densely populated part of Karachi, and is one of its earliest settled areas. History Lyari is said to be one of the oldest inhabited parts of Karachi, and is referred to by its residents as the "Mother of Karachi." Its name is said to be derived from a ''Lyar'' - a tree which grows in a graveyard. The first residents of Lyari were Sindhi fishermen and Baloch nomads (''pawans''). The first influx occurred in 1725, when Sindhi banyas (''wāniya'') came and expanded it, before Karachi was formally established in 1729. Further waves of Baloch migrants arrived in 1770 and 1795. Pervez Musharraf (11 August 1943 – 5 February 2023) was a Pakistani general and politician who served as the tenth president of Pakistan from 2001 to 2008.
