Kapuso Foundation
GMA Kapuso Foundation Inc. (formerly Bisig Bayan Foundation and GMA Foundation) is a socio-civic organization organized by GMA Network Inc. to facilitate social programs and outreach to the public. Implemented singly or in partnership with other agencies, the foundation focuses on helping and supporting impoverished families and children, calamity victims, prisoners and ex-prisoners, and aspiring singers and songwriters, including dependents of GMA employees. Mel Tiangco
Carmela "Mel" Corro Tiangco (; born August 10, 1955) is a Filipino television newscaster and television host. She is one of the news pillars of GMA Integrated News, GMA Public Affairs and a multi-awarded news anchor. Biography Carmela Corro Tiangco was born on August 10, 1955, in Bataan to Arsenio Tiangco Sr. and Florencia Corro. Media career After graduating from De La Salle University, she became one of the leading presenters in Philippine television journal programs. Tiangco's media career began in the last years of the Marcos presidency. She began in broadcasting when she was hired by government-owned MBS-4 as a newscaster after being discovered in an audition in RPN-9 by its network's news director Edwin Fargas. GMA Network Center
The GMA Network Center is the headquarters and broadcast complex of GMA Network, a major radio and television network in the Philippines. It is located at EDSA corner Timog Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City. It is the network's main television and radio production center, and its main transmission facility for most of Metro Manila. The building houses Super Radyo DZBB 594 AM, Barangay LS 97.1 FM, GMA-7 and GTV-27. GMA inaugurated the facility on June 14, 2000, the birthdate of GMA Network, as part of the kick-off of its year-round celebration of its 50th golden anniversary. Felipe Gozon
Felipe Enrique "Henry" Lapuz Gozon (born December 8, 1939), is a Filipino lawyer, business executive, and the current chairman and adviser of the board of GMA Network Inc., one of the largest media conglomerate in the Philippines. A lawyer by profession, the Yale-educated Gozon is seen as the network executive who has successfully turned-around GMA from its state as one of the leading television networks in the Philippines to its current stature, at some point toppling the long-dominant ABS-CBN in 1997 and 2004 from their nationwide stronghold until today in the Mega Manila ratings.
