Kapringen
''A Hijacking'' ( da, Kapringen) is a 2012 Danish thriller film written and directed by Tobias Lindholm about a ship hijacking. Pilou Asbæk and Søren Malling star as a cook taken hostage and the CEO that attempts to negotiate for his release, respectively. It premiered at the 69th Venice International Film Festival. Plot Mikkel Hartmann, cook on board the Danish merchant ship ''Rozen'', is anxious to return to his wife and child. Jan Sørensen, the ship's engineer, asks him to take a letter home to his family. Pilou Asbæk
Johan Philip "Pilou" Asbæk (; born 2 March 1982) is a Danish actor. He is known for his role as troubled spin doctor Kasper Juul in the Danish television political drama '' Borgen'', and as Euron Greyjoy in the television series ''Game of Thrones''. Early life Asbæk was born in Copenhagen, the son of gallery owners Maria Patricia (''née'' Tonn) and Jacob A. Asbæk, who run Galerie Asbæk in Copenhagen. His mother was born in Casablanca, Morocco, to a Danish father and a French mother. His father is from Hammel. Hildur Ingveldardóttir Guðnadóttir (born 4 September 1982) is an Icelandic musician and composer. Tobias Lindholm (born 5 July 1977) is a Danish screenwriter and film director. His 2015 directed film '' A War'' was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. In addition to ''A War'', he has directed the films '' R'' (2010), '' A Hijacking'' (2012), and '' The Good Nurse'' (2022). He has also written for multiple films and TV series. The survival film is a film genre in which one or more characters make an effort at physical survival. It often overlaps with other film genres.
