Paul Kantner
Paul Lorin Kantner (March 17, 1941 – January 28, 2016) was an American rock musician. He is best known as the co-founder, rhythm guitarist, and vocalist of Jefferson Airplane, a leading psychedelic rock band of the counterculture era. He continued these roles as a member of Jefferson Starship, Jefferson Airplane's successor band. Jefferson Airplane formed in 1965 when Kantner met Marty Balin. Kantner eventually became the leader of the group and led it through its highly successful late-1960s period. In 1970, while still active with Jefferson Airplane, Kantner and several Bay Area musicians recorded the album ''Blows Against the Empire'', which was co-credited to both Paul Kantner and "Jefferson Starship". Jefferson Airplane continued to record and perform until 1973. Kantner revived the Jefferson Starship name in 1974 and continued to record and perform with them through 1984. China Wing Kantner is an American actress in television, theatre and film. She is also a former MTV VJ, sometimes credited on-screen as China Slick Kantner. Biography Kantner was born in San Francisco, California, the daughter of two Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship bandmembers, singer Grace Slick (born Grace Wing) and guitarist Paul Kantner. Seth Kantner is an American writer from the state of Alaska who has attended the University of Alaska and studied journalism at the University of Montana. He has worked as a photographer, trapper, fisherman, mechanic and igloo-builder and now lives in Kotzebue, Alaska. His 2004 novel ''Ordinary Wolves'' tells the story of Cutuk, a boy who, like the author, was raised and home-schooled in a sod igloo on the Alaskan tundra. Konrad V Kantner
Konrad V Kantner (ca. 1385 – 10 September 1439) was a duke of Oleśnica, Koźle, half of Bytom and half of Ścinawa during 1412–1427 (with his brothers as co-rulers), since 1427 sole ruler over Oleśnica. He was the second son of Konrad III the Old, Duke of Oleśnica, by his wife Judith. Like his one older and three younger brothers, at the baptism he received the name of Konrad, which was characteristic in this branch of the House of Piast. Uwe Cantner (born August 2, 1960) is a German economist. Current positions Since 2000 Uwe Cantner has been full professor of Economics at the University of Jena, and heads the chair of Economics and Microeconomics. Economics of innovation, evolutionary economics, industrial economics, and productivity and efficiency measurement are his major fields of research. Since 2011 he is also Professor of Economics (part-time) at the University of Southern Denmark. On 15 October 2014 he became vice-president for young researchers and diversity management at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. Middle High German (MHG; german: Mittelhochdeutsch (Mhd.)) is the term for the form of German spoken in the High Middle Ages.
