The St. Joseph Goats (formerly known as the Kansas City Goats) are a professional indoor American football, indoor football team based in St. Joseph, Missouri in the United States. They are currently members of The Arena League (The AL or TAL). They played their home games at Municipal Auditorium (Kansas City, Missouri), Municipal Auditorium and Saint Pius X Catholic High School (Kansas City, Missouri), St. Pius X High School for the 2024 AL season, but moved to nearby St. Joseph, Missouri. As of 2025, they will play their home games at the St. Joseph Civic Arena. History On June 14, 2023, Kansas City, Missouri, Kansas City was announced as the fourth city of the Arena League alongside the announcement of the Ozarks Lunkers, Springfield, Missouri's team. Kansas City Athlete Training is the official practice and training partner for the Goats. Christian Okoye
Christian Emeka Okoye (; born August 16, 1961) is a Nigerian–American former professional football fullback who played for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL) from 1987 to 1992. Nicknamed "the Nigerian Nightmare", he was known for his powerful running style and ability to break tackles. His six-season NFL career produced an NFL rushing champion title in 1989, first-team All-Pro honors in 1989, second-team All-Pro honors in 1991, two Pro Bowl appearances in 1989 and 1991, and three playoff appearances.
