Kannan Devan Hills
Kannan Devan Hills is a large village located in Devikulam taluk, Devikulam Taluk of Idukki district, Idukki District in the Indian state of Kerala. It is situated near the state border of Tamil Nadu about 25 kilometres northeast of the district seat Painavu and 8 kilometres north of the subdistrict seat Devikulam. ''Kannan En Kadhalan'' () is a 1968 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by P. Neelakantan, produced and co-written by R. M. Veerappan, starring M. G. Ramachandran, Jayalalithaa and Vanisri. It was released on 25 April 1968. Plot Kannan is the adopted son of a retired Captain and Sundaram is the biological son. Mallika is the niece of this rich man, who is engaged, at birth to Sundaram. Mallika is secretly in love with Kannan. Malathi lost her father in an accident; she now lives with the widow as her adopted daughter. Malathi and Kannan fall in love as they share good bonding. Yaar Kannan is an Indian film director and screenwriter who has worked on Tamil films. He made his debut with the 1985 with the horror film '' Yaar?'' and regularly collaborated with Ramarajan in the late 1980s.
