Edvin Kanka Ćudić
Edvin Kanka Ćudić (; born 31 December 1988) is a Bosnian human rights activist, martial artist and journalist who is best known as the leader of the UDIK, a non-governmental organisation campaigning for human rights and reconciliation in the former Yugoslavia. Biography Born as Edvin Ćudić on 31 December 1988 in Brčko, the great-great-grandson of the teacher Ibrahim Ustavdić. He grew up in Gračanica and Brčko. He studied at the University of Sarajevo and Ankara University. He got a bachelor's degree in journalism from University of Sarajevo in 2012. In 2018 earned his master's degree in political science. At the age of 14, in Brčko he began to study jujutsu and was very quickly introduced to aikido. Aikido began practicing in 2017 under Alen Hadžiabdić in Sarajevo. František Maxmilián Kaňka
František Maxmilián Kaňka (19 August 1674 – 14 July 1766) was a Czech architect. He was among the most important and most prolific Baroque architects in the Czech lands. Life František Maxmilián Kaňka was born in Prague on 19 August 1674. His father Vít Václav Kaňka was a builder who built the fortifications of New Town of Prague. Kaňka became an apprentice of Paul Ignaz Bayer. He then lived abroad for a while (in Vienna and probably also in northern Italy). He was married twice. He married a second time at a relatively old age to a much younger wife. From 1733 or 1734, he no longer devoted himself to architecture and became a successful brewer. He was wealthy and had his offspring study law. He died in Prague on 14 July 1766, at the age of 91. Megan Kanka
On July 29, 1994, in Hamilton Township, New Jersey, seven-year-old girl Megan Nicole Kanka was raped and murdered by her neighbor, Jesse Timmendequas, after he lured her into his house; Timmendequas had previously been convicted of child molestation. The murder attracted national attention and subsequently led to the introduction of "Megan's Law", which requires law enforcement to disclose details relating to the location of registered sex offenders. In 1997, Timmendequas was convicted of Kanka's murder. He was initially sentenced to death, but his sentence was commuted to life without parole after New Jersey abolished capital punishment in 2007.
