Kanjirappally is a taluk and a town in Kottayam district situated about away from the district capital, in the state of Kerala, in southwestern India. Etymology Climate Kanjirappally has the highest number of rainy days in Kerala. It receives the highest amount of summer rains, winter rains and northeast monsoons (Thulaam Mazha) in Kerala, making it one of the very few places in the country with equatorial rainforest type climate, with no distinct dry season. The well-distributed rainfall pattern of Kanjirappally is the primary reason for the phenomenon of high yield of latex from Rubber plantations in and around the town. Erumely, also spelled Erumeli, is a town and panchayat located in the south-eastern part of Kottayam district in Kerala, India. Erumely is situated east of Kottayam town and north of the state capital Thiruvananthapuram. The village is on the banks of the Manimala River. The Sabarimala Sree Dharma Sastha Temple () is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Ayyappan, who is also known as Dharma Shasta and is the son of the deities Shiva and Mohini (female avatar of the god Vishnu). Kuttikkanam is a hill station in Idukki district, Kerala state, India. It is above sea level and surrounded by lush green tea plantations. It is within the territory of Peermade. National Highways 183 (NH 183) is located in India. It connects Kollam High school Jn in Kerala with Dindigul in Tamil Nadu.
