Kang Sang-yoon
Kang Sang-yoon (; born 31 May 2004) is a South Korean footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Suwon FC on loan from Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. Club career Affiliated with the club since 2017, while also attending the Geumsan Middle School and Yeongsaeng High School, Kang signed a semi-professional contract with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in March 2022. He made his debut in the 2022 K League 1 on 5 May 2022, being named as a surprise starter in an eventual 1–1 draw with FC Seoul. Ahead of the following season, he was registered as a full professional. International career Having represented South Korea from under-14 to under-19 level, Kang was called up to the under-20 squad for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Jeju Province, officially Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, is one of the nine provinces of South Korea. The K League 2 (Hangul: K리그2) is the men's second-highest division of the South Korean football league system. It is contested between thirteen professional clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the K League 1. History In 2011, the original K League announced a plan to begin a promotion and relegation system between the K League and a proposed second division. The K League 1 (Hangul: K리그1) is the men's top professional football division of the South Korean football league system. The league is contested by twelve clubs. History The South Korean professional football league was founded in 1983 as the "Korean Super League", with five member clubs. The initial five clubs were Hallelujah FC, Yukong Elephants, Pohang Steelworks, Daewoo Royals, Kookmin Bank. Hallelujah FC won the inaugural title, finishing one point ahead of Daewoo Royals to lift the crown. The Super League was renamed the "Korean Professional Football League", and introduced the home and away system in 1987. It was once again renamed the "K League" in 1998. 2023 K4 League
The 2023 K4 League is the third season of the K4 League as a semi-professional league and the fourth tier of South Korean football league system. The regular season is from 25 February to 11 November 2023. Goyang KH FC is the defending champions and was promoted together with Yangpyeong FC (the runner-up) and Chuncheon Citizen (play-off winner) to 2023 K3 League. Dangjin Citizen were relegated from 2022 K3 League via K3-K4 League Relegation play-off and will play in the K4 League after one season. Competition format The 2022 K4 League is contested by 17 teams, with no relegation system in place. Each team competes home and away, playing 32 games.
