''Kandak Sema (Like a Mountain)'' ( si, කන්දක් සේමා) is an upcoming Sri Lankan Sinhalese language romantic drama film directed by Asoka Athaudahetti and co-directed by Tao Nashimotho. Kandak Sema co produced by Sumithra Rahubaddhe , Jayantha Hettiarachchi, Ashu Marasinghe and Samanmalee Padmakumara .the execetive producer of the film is Sumithra Rahubaddhe. It stars Nirosha Perera and Japanese actor Jun Etoh in lead roles along with Japanese actress Ayako Kobayashi with Bimal Jayakody in supportive roles. Music composed by Suresh Maliyadde. The film is based on the novel written by Sumithra Rahubaddhe and the script also goes to her credit. Ashu Marasinghe
Ashu Marasinghe (born 25 May 1971) is a Sri Lankan politician, professor and academic. He served as the former advisor to current Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and also served as a former Member of Parliament of Sri Lanka. He was a national list member of the Parliament of Sri Lanka proposed by United National Front following the 2015 Sri Lankan parliamentary election and subsequently served in the 15th Parliament of Sri Lanka as an MP. He specialised in Computer Engineering. He stirred huge controversy after being accused of sexually abusing a pet dog which belonged to his girlfriend Adarshaa Karadana. Sri Lankan cinema encompasses the Sri Lankan film industry. It is a fledgling industry that has struggled to find a footing since its inauguration in 1947 with '' Kadawunu Poronduwa'' produced by S. Oshin
is a Japanese serialized morning television drama (''asadora''), which originally aired on NHK from 4 April 1983 to 31 March 1984; it is the 31st ''asadora'' overall to be produced. The 297 15-minute episodes follow the life of during the Meiji period up to the early 1980s. In the work, Shin is called ''Oshin'', an archaic Japanese cognomen.
