Kanangra Walls
The Kanangra-Boyd National Park is a protected national park that is located in the Central Tablelands region, west of the Southern Highlands and Macarthur regions, in New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The national park is situated approximately south-west of Sydney and is contiguous with the Blue Mountains National Park and the Nattai National Park. The park was established in 1969. The Kanangra-Boyd National Park is one of the eight protected areas that, in 2000, was inscribed to form part of the UNESCO World Heritagelisted Greater Blue Mountains Area. The Kanangra-Boyd National Park is the most southwesterly of the eight protected areas within the World Heritage Site. The national park forms part of the Great Dividing Range. Kanangra Falls
Kanangra Falls is a waterfall on the Kanangra River, in the Kanangra-Boyd National Park, near , in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia. Wombeyan Caves Road
Wombeyan Caves Road is a New South Wales country road linking Mittagong near Hume Highway in the east to Goulburn-Oberon Road at the locality of Richlands in the west. Route At its eastern end, the road starts at Old Hume Highway just west of Mittagong. Access from the north of Mittagong is via Mittagong, while access from the south is via the half interchange at the southern end of the Mittagong Bypass section of Hume Highway. It passes through farmland and the locality of High Range as a sealed road. Further west, it changes to unsealed and continues through farmland before entering the Wombeyan Caves area. The road conditions deteriorate substantially as the road goes further west until it reaches the main Wombeyan Caves reserve camping area. Kowmung River
The Kowmung River (Gandangara: ''Barnalay''), a perennial river that is part of the Hawkesbury- Nepean catchment, is located in the Central Tablelands region of New South Wales, Australia. Course and features The Kowmung River is formed by the confluence of the Tuglow and Hollanders rivers near the locality of Tuglow, east southeast of the village of Shooters Hill. The river flows generally southeast and northeast, joined by seven minor tributaries, before reaching its confluence with the Coxs River west of Mount Cookem. The river descends over its course. Approximately seventy per cent of the river's catchment lies within the boundaries of the Blue Mountains and Kanangra-Boyd national parks. The Coxs River, a perennial river that is part of the Hawkesbury- Nepean catchment, is located in the Central Tablelands, Blue Mountains, and Macarthur regions of New South Wales, Australia. Oberon, New South Wales
Oberon is a town located within the Oberon Council Local government in Australia, local government area, in the Central Tablelands region of New South Wales, Australia. The main industries are farming, forestry and wood products. The town usually receives snowfall during the winter months, owing to its high elevation.
