Kanakalatha (born 24 August 1960) is an Indian actress who works predominantly in the Malayalam cinema. Personal life Kanakalatha was born to parents Parameshwaran Pillai and Chinnamma at Kollam, Kerala. She attended the Government Girls School, Kollam. Before becoming a cine actress she was a theater artist. She is divorced.
