Kampong Menglait () or simply known as Menglait, is a village in Brunei-Muara District, Brunei, as well as a neighbourhood and commercial area in the capital Bandar Seri Begawan. The population was 2,262 in 2016. It is one of the villages within Mukim Gadong 'B'. The postcode is BE3919. Name Kampong Menglait used to be known as Gadong Estate which was only filled with rubber plantations. In the past, the village was known as Sungai Asgar, which was believed to be the place where soldiers were raised and where they hid during the Second World War. Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Highway ( ms, Lebuhraya Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah; Jawi: ليبوهراي سلطان حسنال بولكيه) is a major highway in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. It is named after the current Sultan of Brunei, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. Old Airport () is an area in Berakas, near the city of Bandar Seri Begawan, in the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam. Mukim Sungai Kedayan was a mukim in Brunei-Muara District, Brunei. It was located within Kampong Ayer, the historical stilt settlements on the Brunei River in the capital Bandar Seri Begawan. The population was 230 in 2016. Name The name of the mukim could be named after the village it encompasses, Kampong Sungai Kedayan. The wealthy traders used to reside in Kampong Sungai Kedayan, and the majority of senior government officials came from there. Mukim Burong Pingai Ayer is a mukim in Brunei-Muara District, Brunei. It is located within Kampong Ayer, the traditional stilt settlements on the Brunei River in the capital Bandar Seri Begawan. The population was 1,770 in 2016. Name The mukim is named after Kampong Burong Pingai Ayer, one of the villages it encompasses. Over time, several names have altered such as Kampong Sungai Pandan, which was formerly known as Kampong Sungai Kuyuk, which was less popular because ''kuyuk'' in Bruneian dialect means dog.
