Kamil Szeptycki
Kamil Szeptycki (born 27 January 1991) is a Polish actor. He is best known for his roles in the films '' Stones for the Rampart'' (2014) and '' Piłsudski'' (2019). Early life Szeptycki was born in Immenstadt to Polish parents who immigrated to Germany during the Communist era. His mother, , is an actress. At the age of two, he and his family moved back to Poland, settling in Wrocław. He attended and graduated from the Wrocław branch of the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in 2016. Career In 2014, he made his film debut playing Maciej Aleksy Dawidowski in '' Stones for the Rampart'', based on the 1943 novel of the same name by Aleksander Kamiński. In 2019, he played Kazimierz Sosnkowski in Michał Rosa's '' Piłsudski''. He will play Julian Fontana in the upcoming film '' Chopin, a Sonata in Paris'' by Michał Kwieciński. Immenstadt im Allgäu () is a town in Oberallgäu, the southernmost district of Bavaria, Germany, in the German Alps. First mentioned in a 1275 administrative tract, it was granted town privileges in 1360, which makes it one of the oldest towns in the area. ''The Champion'' (, "''The Master''"), released in some English-speaking countries as ''The Champion of Auschwitz'', is a 2020 Polish sports drama film written and directed by Maciej Barczewski. It stars Piotr Głowacki as Tadeusz Pietrzykowski, a real-life Polish boxer who became famous for his nearly undefeated strings of victories in the Nazi concentration camps. The film also stars Rafal Zawierucha, Marcin Czarnik and Marian Dziedziel. The music was composed by Bartosz Chajdecki. This is the first full-length movie directed by Barczewski.
