Kamen Butōkai
is the debut single by Japanese idol group Shonentai. The single was released on 12 December 1985 under Warner Pioneer label. They performed this song on the 37th Kōhaku Uta Gassen. Background The beginning of the phrase, "''Tonight ya ya ya, tear''" was the idea not by the lyricist but one of the members, Nishikiori. For the arranger, Funayama it was his the most difficult work to be published during his career, due to big pressure from producer, Johnny Kitagawa to produce the best debut song for his idol group. The single has been released in 3 different editions with each including different B-Side tracks: "Nihon Yoitoko Makafushigi", "One Step Beyond" and "Harukaze ni Iine". The single has been included only in the compilations albums along with two B-side songs. Shonentai
were a three-member Japanese boy band created by entertainment company Johnny & Associates, now rebranded to Starto Entertainment. They debuted on December 12, 1985. They were one of Japan's leading Japanese idol groups of the 1980s. The group led the annual musical Playzone from 1986 to 2008 for about 957 performances with a total attendance of over 1.38 million people over the course of 22 years. On September 20, 2020, it was announced that Nishikiori and Uekusa would leave Johnny & Associates by the end of the year. The group name will be retained in accordance with the members' desire to preserve their past achievements and Shonentai itself, but there are no plans for future activities, and the group has effectively been placed on hiatus. The album was released on October 21, 2015 under their record label J Storm in three editions: a first press/limited edition, a Yoitoko limited edition, and a regular edition. Arashi
is a Japanese boy band consisting of five members formed under the Johnny & Associates talent agency. The members are Satoshi Ohno, Sho Sakurai, Masaki Aiba, Kazunari Ninomiya, and Jun Matsumoto. Arashi officially formed on September 15, 1999, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and made their debut CD on November 3, 1999.
