Kame-Sennin
Master Roshi, known in Japan as as well as , is a fictional character in the Japanese manga series ''Dragon Ball'' and its anime adaptations created by Akira Toriyama. Within the series, he is an elderly martial arts master, born on March 20, who is the creator of the technique. His students include Grandpa Son Gohan, The Ox-King, Son Goku, Krillin and Yamcha. He is bald, sports a thick van dyke beard, and wears sunglasses, beach clothes, or martial arts suits. He usually wields a walking stick and, in early appearances, wears a turtle's shell on his back. In spite of his lechery, cantankerousness and occasional whimsy or foolishness, he is often depicted as wise and perceptive. While a popular character with ''Dragon Ball'' fans, the depiction of some of his antics has been met with criticism or deemed highly controversial. Hiroshi Masuoka (voice Actor)
was a Japanese actor, Voice acting in Japan, voice actor and narrator from Minami-Saitama District, Saitama, Minami, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. He voiced the roles of Masuo-san, Masuo Fuguta in ''Sazae-san'' and Jam Ojisan in ''Anpanman, Soreike! Anpanman''. He also voiced Kame-Sennin during the last episodes of ''Dragon Ball Z'' and all of ''Dragon Ball GT'', following Kōhei Miyauchi's death. He worked for the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society until his death in 2020. On August 5, 2019, it was announced that Masuoka had retired from his roles in ''Sazae-san'' and ''Anpanman, Soreike! Anpanman'', which would be taken over by Hideyuki Tanaka and Kōichi Yamadera respectively. Masuoka died on March 21, 2020, from rectal cancer. is a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator currently working for Aoni Production. He was born in Ōta, Tokyo. Satō is best known for the roles of Buffaloman, Sunshine (''Kinnikuman''), Miyamoto Musashi ('' Yaiba''), Adah ('' Mushiking: King of the Beetles''), and Dora-med III (''The Doraemons'').
