Kambisseri Karunakaran
Sri. P. N. Karunakaran (Puthenveettil Narayanan Karunakaran), popularly known as Kambisseri Karunakaran (3 March 1922 – 27 July 1977) was an Indian journalist who wrote in Malayalam language. He was the chief editor of '' Janayugam Daily'', ''Balayugam'' (Children's monthly), the ''Novel Pathippu'' (Monthly novel issue), ''Cine Rama'' (Fortnightly movie magazine), and ''Janayugam Varika'' (Weekly), a group of publications in Malayalam language, owned by the Communist Party of India. Beside being a journalist he was a politician, writer, orator, actor, satirist, atheist and rationalist. He was an MLA, Member of Thiru-Kochi (Travancore-Cochin) Legislative Assembly from 1952 to 1954 representing Kayamkulam constituency. Many times he was a member of the Kerala State film awards committee. Vallikunnam
Vallikunnam is a village in Mavelikara taluk of Alappuzha district in the Indian state of Kerala. Description It is the southernmost place in Alappuzha, bordering Oachira and Thazhava of Kollam districts. It is an area of paddy and sesame fields, as well as rubber and tapioca cultivation. Puthussery Ramachandran
Puthussery Ramachandran Pillai (23 September 1928 – 14 March 2020) was an Indian poet of the Malayalam language. He was a scholar of Dravidian linguistics and a professor of Malayalam for more than three decades. On 14 March 2020, he died of age-related illnesses. Career Ramachandran completed his B.A (Honors) with first rank from the University College, Trivandrum in 1956. He joined S.N. College, Kollam as lecturer in 1957 and later became the Professor in Malayalam. Ramachandran was a member of the Syndicate of the University of Kerala and was the General Secretary of First World Conference on Malayalam language and Kerala Culture organised by the University of Kerala in 1977. He was the Organizing Secretary of the First All India Conference on Dravidian Linguistics in 1971.
