The Kam Tin River (), located in the northwest New Territories, is a river to the east to Yuen Long, near Kam Tin, Hong Kong Hong Kong ( (US) or (UK); , ), officially the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China ( abbr. Hong Kong SAR or HKSAR), is a city and special administrative region of China on the eastern Pearl River Delt .... The river basin spans around 44.3 km2. The length of the river is about 13 km. Kaam ( Gurmukhi: ਕਾਮ ''Kāma'') in common usage, the term stands for 'excessive passion for sexual pleasure' and it is in this sense that it is considered to be an evil in Sikhism. In Sikhism it is believed that Kaam can be overcome by being satisfied with the current moment. All 5 thieves can be overcome with selfless service and remembrance of God ( Simran).
