Kaluđerski Skokovi
Kaluđerski Skokovi () is the highest waterfall in Serbia. It is located on the Stara Planina mountain in southeast Serbia. Only discovered in 2012, it is high, which is over twice more than the Kopren Waterfall, previously the highest waterfall in Serbia, which itself was discovered only a year earlier. Location The Kaluđerski Skokovi falls are situated in the area of the Topli Do village, northeast of the city of Pirot, to which it administratively belongs. The waterfall is located just southwest of the Midžor peak on the Stara Planina mountain, close to the border with Bulgaria. Characteristics The waterfall is located on the river of ''Kaluđerska reka'', which flows into the ''Rakitska reka'', which in turn forms the Toplodolska reka with the ''Javorska reka''. Cascade Waterfall
A waterfall is any point in a river or stream where water flows over a vertical drop or a series of steep drops. Waterfalls also occur where meltwater drops over the edge of a tabular iceberg or ice shelf. Pilj Waterfall
Pilj Waterfall, or simply Pilj (), is the third-highest waterfall in Serbia. It was discovered by geologists and alpinists only in 2002. Location The waterfall is located in the south-eastern region of Visok, near the border of Bulgaria, on the southern slopes of the mountain of Stara Planina. It is located four kilometers away from the village of Topli Do, in the direction of the village of Dojkinci. Geography Piljski waterfall is in the gorge of the Piljski stream, the tributary to the Temštica (''Toplodolska reka'') river, thus this is haow the waterfall got its name. It is located under the Stara Planina peaks of Čungulj and Kurtulj and the ridge of Jelenski Skok (deer jump), at the altitude of 1,450 meters above sea level. Temštica ( sr-Cyrl, Темштица), or Temska River (), is a river in Serbia, a right tributary of the river Nišava. The Temštica itself is not very long (23 km), but receives a much longer tributary, the Visočica (Височица), flowing from Bulgaria (16.7 km in length), through Serbia (54 km in length) making ''Visočica and Temštica river system'' 93.7 km long. Midžor
Midžor ( sr-cyr, Миџор, ) or Midzhur (, ) is a peak in the Balkan Mountains, situated on the border between Bulgaria and Serbia.
