Kalthoon
''Kalthoon'' () is a 1981 Indian Tamil-language drama film, directed by Major Sundarrajan. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, K. R. Vijaya and Sundarrajan. It is based on the play of the same name. The film become a hit at the box-office, running for over 100 days in theaters. Plot Parameshwaran Goundar, a farmer and a respectable honorable village chieftain, with much difficulty, sells his land to make Pazhanisamy, his youngest son, a doctor. He has two other sons, one adopted and one of his own. The younger son, however, turns out to be a womanizer though he tops in his college, much to the chagrin of father. Parameshwaran's father too was a playboy and womanizer who murdered his own wife, Parameshwaran's mother, when she tries to stop him. Kalthoon Thilak
Thilak Raj (April 5, 1943 – May 7, 2021) was an Indian actor. Also known as Kalthoon Thilak, he was known for playing supporting roles in Tamil films as an antagonist. His breakthrough performance came in the film, ''Kalthoon'' (1981), following which he adapted the film's title in his stagename. Career Thilak began his career in the Tamil film industry as an assistant editor at AVM Studios and had worked on 24 films. He began experimenting as an actor through appearances in Major Sundarrajan's drama troupe. Thilak went on to act in over 70 films, including ''Thayilla Kuzhandhai'' (1976), ''Per Solla Oru Pillai'' (1978) and '' Aarilirunthu Arubathu Varai'' (1979), often appearing as arrogant villainous characters. Nagesh (born Cheyur Krishnarao Nageshwaran; (27 September 1933 – 31 January 2009) was an Indian actor, mostly remembered for his roles as a comedian in Tamil films during the 1960s. Nagesh was born in Dharapuram. He acted in over 1,000 Cinema of India, films from 1958 to 2008, performing in a variety of roles as comedian, lead roles, supporting actor and antagonist. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil-language weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. The magazine is known for its publication of historic novels such as ''Ponniyin Selvan'' and ''Sivagamiyin Sabadham''.
