Kalpathi Rajendran Shriram
Kalpathi Rajendran Shriram also known K.R.Shriram (born 28 September 1963) is an Indian judge. He is currently serving as the Chief Justice of Madras High Court, Chennai. He has also served as one of the justices of Mumbai High Court. Early life Siriram was born on 28 September 1963 in Mumbai to Kalpathi Rajendran of Kerala state. Siriram studied Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Accountancy and Management) and LLB from University of Mumbai. He later obtained a master's degree in Maritime Law from King's College London. As lawyer Siriram enrolled as an advocate in the Maharashtra and Goa Bar Association on 3 July 1986, to practice law. Then he took practice with Senior Advocate S. Venkateswaran as a junior lawyer. Altamas Kabir (19 July 1948 – 19 February 2017) was an Indian lawyer and judge who served as the 39th Chief Justice of India. Early life and education Altamas Kabir was born in Calcutta in 1948, to a Bengali Muslim family from the district of Faridpur (now in Bangladesh). He studied at the Mount Hermon School, Darjeeling, and the Calcutta Boys' School.
