Kalonunia rice is a variety of non-Basmati, aromatic, black textured small rice mainly grown in the State of India, Indian state of West Bengal. It is a common and widely cultivated crop in District, districts of Cooch Behar district, Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri district, Jalpaiguri and Alipurduar district, Alipurduar along with some parts of Darjeeling district, Darjeeling & Kalimpong district, Kalimpong districts of West Bengal.
