Kalina Krumova
Kalina Venelinova Krumova ( Bulgarian: Калина Венелинова Крумова; born 7 January 1985, Burgas, Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian politician, television presenter and journalist. She was elected to the 41st National Assembly of Bulgaria as a member of the Ataka Party in the 2009 parliamentary election. She is the youngest MP in Bulgaria. Biography Education Krumova completed her secondary education at a school for Romance languages in Burgas, where she specialised in French. She then studied for a BA in world economy (with a thesis on "Economics of a socio-cultural sphere") at the local university, and later took a master's degree in journalism and mass media. As well as her native Bulgarian, Krumova is fluent in French and has a working knowledge of English and Italian. Career Kalina Krumova was host for the SKAT TV show ''Early Buzz''. 2012 Burgas Bus Bombing
The 2012 Burgas bus bombing was a terrorist attack carried out by a suicide bomber on a passenger bus transporting Israeli tourists at the Burgas Airport in Burgas, Bulgaria, on 18 July 2012. The bus was carrying 42 Israelis, mainly youths, from the airport to their hotels, after arriving on a flight from Tel Aviv. The explosion killed the Bulgarian bus driver and five Israelis and injured 32 Israelis, resulting in international condemnation of the bombing. In February 2013, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, the Bulgarian Interior Minister, said there was "well-grounded" evidence that Hezbollah was behind the attack. Tsvetanov stated that the two suspects had Canadian and Australian passports and lived in Lebanon. According to the Europol, forensic evidence and intelligence sources all point to Hezbollah's involvement in the blast. Both Iran and Hezbollah have denied any involvement. Skat Television ( bg, Национална телевизия Скат) is a Bulgarian national cable television company. The company was founded in 1992 in Burgas and is headquartered there. Skat is also the name for one of the channels which Skat television operates from the Bulgarian capital city Sofia. History Skat as a cable TV company operates mostly in the Burgas Province and has created cable networks in many populated places near the Black Sea coast. The company, like the other cable TV operators in Burgas, provides analogue television, digital television, Internet access and telephone services. Skat's headquarters are located in Burgas, and a regional TV channel called "Skat +" is broadcast from there to many places in the province.
