Kalin Dedikov
Kalin Dedikov (born 20 October 1977 in Sofia, Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian rally driver and a journalist. He has been competing in the FIA Alternative Energies Cup Championship since 2013 and in the FIA Electric and New Energies Championship since 2017. Rally career Kalin Dedikov made his FIA Alternative Energies Cup debut on Tesla Rally Serbia in 2013 with a Dacia Logan. During the 2013 rally season Dedikov took 12th place in the General classification together with the co-driver Nikolay Kitanov in a Dacia Logan LPG. For the 2013 rally season Dacia took 5th place in the Manufacturer’s Cup. In 2014 Dedikov took the third place in the General classification of the FIA Alternative Energies Cup with the co-driver George Pavlov. The team completed with a Great Wall C30. The FIA ecoRally Cup is an international motorsport competition for electric vehicles organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile. The cup consists of several regularity rallies, usually located in Europe and ran during one calendar year. 2014 FIA Alternative Energies Cup
The 2014 FIA Alternative Energies Cup was the eighth season of the FIA Alternative Energies Cup, a world championship for vehicles with alternative energy propulsion organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile. For the fourth successive year, Massimo Liverani won the Category VII/VIII title for hybrid vehicles, despite winning only one of the seven events during the season. He won the championship by 24 points ahead of Guido Guerrini, who finished as the championship runner-up for the fourth successive year. Third place went to Kalin Dedikov, who won his home event in Bulgaria. The other wins were shared by Sylvain Blondeau, Txema Foronda, Massimo Zanasi, Gregor Zdovc, as well as Roberto Viganò, who was ineligible to score points towards the championship.
