The chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia ( ka, საქართველოს პარლამენტის თავმჯდომარე, tr) is the presiding officer (speaker) of the Parliament of Georgia. The incumbent speaker is Shalva Papuashvili, since December 29, 2021. Salomé Nino Zourabichvili (born 18March 1952) is a French-born Georgian politician, former diplomat, and the fifth president of Georgia – the first female to be elected as president in the country's history.
