Kakarajima
, also known as Kakara, is an island to the north of Yobuko, which is in the Higashimatsuura District of Saga Prefecture, Japan. It is long from north to south, and three quarters of a mile wide, with steep shores. In 1884, it was reported that a cable had been laid between Korea and Japan, with an intermediate station on Kagara Island. Saga Prefecture

Yobuko, Saga
was a town located in the Higashimatsuura District of Saga Prefecture, Japan. As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 5,895 and a density of 809.75 persons per km². The total area was 7.28 km². On January 1, 2005, Yobuko, along with the towns of Chinzei, Hamatama, Hizen, Kyūragi and Ōchi, and the village of Kitahata (all from Higashimatsuura District), was merged into the expanded city of Karatsu. Description It is 14 cm long and has a conical, grey beak, bill, pinkish-brown feet and brown eyes. The male is grey-green above with black streaks on the back. The underparts are yellow-green (brightest on the throat and belly) with streaks on the flanks. It has black lores, a narrow black chin, a pale eye ring and white outer tail feathers.
