Kaitlin MacDonald
Kaitlin MacDonald (born November 26, 1998, in Brantford, Ontario) is a Canadian curler from Iqaluit, Nunavut. She currently plays second on Team Brigitte MacPhail. Career During her junior career, MacDonald competed in six Canadian Junior Curling Championships from 2015 to 2020 with skip Sadie Pinksen. The teams best finish was a 2–7 record in 2016, 2018 and 2020. They also represented Nunavut at the 2015 Canada Winter Games, finishing in eleventh with a 2–6 record. In 2020, MacDonald, Pinksen and Alison Griffin teamed up with Ontario curler Lori Eddy for the 2020 Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Despite Eddy living in Ontario, she was added to the team as the territory's "import player", after being asked by Griffin. The team automatically qualified for the Scotties as no other team in the Territory decided to challenge them. Brantford
Brantford ( 2021 population: 104,688) is a city in Ontario, Canada, founded on the Grand River in Southwestern Ontario. It is surrounded by Brant County, but is politically separate with a municipal government of its own that is fully independent of the county's municipal government. The 2023 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship, was held from February 17 to 26 at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops, British Columbia. The winning Kerri Einarson team will represent Canada at the 2023 World Women's Curling Championship at the Göransson Arena in Sandviken, Sweden. 2022 Scotties Tournament Of Hearts
The 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship, was held from January 28 to February 6 at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The winning team represented Canada at the 2022 World Women's Curling Championship at the CN Centre in Prince George, British Columbia. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Ontario public health orders, the tournament was held behind closed doors with no public spectators for the second season in a row. As Ontario began to permit a maximum capacity of 500 spectators at indoor sporting events beginning January 31, Curling Canada explored admitting limited public spectators for the playoff draws, but ultimately decided against doing so. The 2021 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship, was held from February 19 to 28 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta. Krista McCarville
Krista Lee McCarville (born Krista Lee Scharf on November 10, 1982) is a Canadian curler from Thunder Bay, Ontario. McCarville is a four-time Northern Ontario junior champion, the 2003 Winter Universiade silver medallist, a four-time Ontario provincial champion, a four-time Northern Ontario provincial champion, and a two-time Canadian national medallist.
