Anu Kaipainen
Anu Kaipainen ( Mustonen; 14 March 1933 — 29 September 2009) was a prolific Finnish writer and literary critic. Early life and education Aune ("Anu") Helinä Mustonen was born in Muolaa, Karelia, to the school principal Johan Emil Mustonen and his second wife Signe Julia Sjöblom. She completed her secondary education in Helsinki in 1951, after which she studied at the University of Helsinki, graduating with a Master of Arts in 1955. Career Before dedicating herself to writing, Kaipainen worked as a Finnish teacher for several years. She had wide literary and cultural interests, contributing to literary criticism, as well as holding board and council roles at numerous literary and cultural organisations. Throughout the 1960s and 70s, Kaipainen served as city councillor in her home town of Kauniainen. Writing Kaipainen's debut novel, ''Utuiset neulat'', came out in 1960, followed by a poetry collection, ''Kädet helmassa'', in 1961. Afterwards she published a new novel ...

Jouni Kaipainen
Jouni Ilari Kaipainen (24 November 1956 – 23 November 2015) was a Finnish composer. Kaipainen was born in Helsinki to the physician and politician Osmo Kaipainen, and his wife, the author Anu Mustonen. He studied at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki under Aulis Sallinen and Paavo Heininen. He died on November 23, 2015, on the eve of his 59th birthday. Osmo Kaipainen
Osmo Ensio Kaipainen (12 August 1933, Pieksämäki – 15 May 1985) was a Finland, Finnish physician and politician. He was Minister of Social Affairs and Health (Finland), Minister of Social Affairs and Heath from 23 February to 3 September 1972. He served as a Member of the Parliament of Finland from 1970 to 1975, representing the Social Democratic Party of Finland (SDP). Kaipainen belonged to the left wing of the party.
