Kai Swoboda (born 4 August 1971 in Canberra) is an Australian whitewater slalom, slalom canoeist who competed from the late 1990s to the mid-2000s. He finished 11th in the Canoeing at the 2000 Summer Olympics – Men's slalom C-2, C-2 event at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder in 1990–1992 and 2001–2002. Whitewater Slalom
Canoe slalom (previously known as whitewater slalom) is a competitive sport with the aim to navigate a decked canoe or kayak through a course of hanging downstream or upstream gates on river rapids in the fastest time possible. It is one of the two kayak and canoeing disciplines at the Summer Olympics, and is referred to by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as Canoe/Kayak Slalom.
