Kagiso Rapulana
Kagiso "Jonty" Rapulana (born 6 July 1991) is a South African cricketer. He was included in the North West squad for the 2016 Africa T20 Cup. In November 2017, he scored 259 not out batting for North West against Northern Cape in the 2017–18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup, his highest score in first-class cricket. In June 2018, he was named in the squad for the Highveld Lions team for the 2018–19 season. The following month, he was named in the Cricket South Africa Emerging Squad. In September 2018, he was named in North West's squad for the 2018 Africa T20 Cup. He was the leading run-scorer for North West in the 2018–19 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge, with 391 runs in five matches. In September 2019, he was named in North West's squad for the 2019–20 CSA Provincial T20 Cup. In April 2021, he was named in Gauteng's squad, ahead of the 2021–22 cricket season in South Africa. Gauteng (cricket Team)
Gauteng (formerly Transvaal) is the first-class cricket team of the southern parts of Gauteng province of South Africa. The team was called ''Transvaal'' from April 1890 to April 1997 (the area north of Johannesburg, including Pretoria being part of the Northerns, formerly ''Northern Transvaal''). Under the main competition's various names – the Currie Cup, then the Castle Cup, now the SuperSport Series – Transvaal/Gauteng cricket team has been the most successful of the South African domestic sides, winning 25 times. 2019–20 CSA Provincial T20 Cup
The 2019–20 CSA Provincial T20 Cup was a domestic Twenty cricket tournament that took place in South Africa in September 2019, as a curtain-raiser to the 2019–20 South African domestic season. It was played between the thirteen South African provincial teams, along with Limpopo and Mpumalanga. This was the sixth edition of the CSA Provincial T20 Cup, which was last played in the 2015–16 season. With only domestic teams from South Africa taking part, the tournament returned in place of the Africa T20 Cup, which had been held since 2015. On the opening day of matches, Jonathan Vandiar scored an unbeaten century for Northerns against Gauteng in Pool A. North West Cricket Team
North West (formerly Western Transvaal) plays first-class cricket in South Africa. North West Dragons was called Western Transvaal in 1989–90 when it began playing List A cricket in the Nissan Shield, and in 1991–92 when it began playing in the second tier of the South African first-class cricket competition. It changed its name to North West in 1996, after the creation of North West province from parts of the former Transvaal Province and Cape Province.
