Kagerup Railway Station
Kagerup railway station is a railway junction located in the central part of the Gribskov forest, about west of the village of Kagerup in North Zealand, Denmark. Kagerup railway station is located on the Gribskov Line. At Kagerup the railway line from Hillerød splits into two branches to the seaside resort towns of Tisvildeleje and Gilleleje. The train services are operated by the railway company Lokaltog which runs frequent local train services from Hillerød station to Tisvildeleje station and Gilleleje station. Tisvildeleje
Tisvildeleje is the village and coastal part of the area known as Tisvilde located on the north coast of the island Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark 60 km/40miles north of Copenhagen in Region Hovedstaden. To the West, Tisvildeleje is bordered by the protected plantation of Tisvilde Hegn egn=fence which is Denmark’s fifth largest forest. The beaches of Tisvildeleje, are known for their white sands and soft dunes. The beach uses large boulders as rock armour and groynes for sea defense in most places. A sea wall also protects a stretch of the coast. Etymology The name "Tisvilde" is derived from "Ti's vælde", meaning ''a place dedicated to the God Tyr''. Gilleleje station () is the main railway station serving the fishing town and seaside resort of Gilleleje on the north coast of the island of Zealand, Denmark. The station is the terminus of the Hornbæk Line from Helsingør to Gilleleje and of the Gilleleje branch of the Gribskov Line from Hillerød to Gilleje. The train services are currently operated by the railway company Lokaltog which runs frequent local train services from Gilleleje to Helsingør station and Hillerød station with onward connections from there to the rest of Denmark. Hillerød station () is a railway station serving the city of Hillerød north of Copenhagen, Denmark.
