Kadhal Munnetra Kazhagam
''Kadhal Munnetra Kazhagam'' () is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Manicka Sathya. It stars Prithvi Rajan and Chandini Tamilarasan in the lead roles, alongside Singampuli and Ganja Karuppu in supporting roles. Featuring music composed by P. C. Shivan, the film was released on 10 May 2019. Cast Production A period drama set in 1985, the debutant director Manicka Sathya cast Chandini Tamilarasan and Prithvi Rajan in the lead roles. Prithvi was selected to play a villager who is a fan of the actor Karthik, while Chandini played a school teacher courted by eight men. The film began production in mid-2016, with Chandini referencing actress Shobana's old films for her character. The shoot of the film took place largely around the Cuddalore district, with a song getting shot in Ooty. Prithvi Rajan
Prithvi Rajan is an Indian actor, who has appeared in leading roles. He is the son of the veteran actor, Pandiarajan. Career He made his debut in '' Kaivantha Kalai'' (2006) directed by his father Pandiarajan and the film opened to average reviews from critics. A critic noted Prithvi Rajan "makes his debut, does a convincing job and has his father's mannerisms." Chandini Tamilarasan is an Indian actress who has appeared in Tamil and Telugu language films. She made her debut in the lead role in K. Singampuli is an Indian actor and director. After making '' Red'' (2002) and '' Maayavi'' (2005), he has made a career appearing in supporting roles in films. Career Singampuli was born and brought up in Theni, Periyakulam and after studying engineering in Bangalore, he arrived in Chennai looking for a career in films. Murali Karthikeyan Muthuraman (born 13 September 1960), better known by his stage name Karthik, is an Indian actor, playback singer and politician who works mainly in Tamil cinema.
