''Kadalai'' () is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by P. Sagayasuresh, starring Ma Ka Pa Anand and Aishwarya Rajesh. Featuring music composed by C. S. Sam, the film began production in early 2015 and was released on 29 October 2016. Ponvannan (born Shanmugam; 23 September 1963) is an Indian actor and director who has worked in Tamil cinema and television. After beginning his career as an artist (painter), Ponvannan apprenticed as a director and writer under Bharathiraja. Yaar Kannan is an Indian film director and screenwriter who has worked on Tamil films. He made his debut with the 1985 with the horror film '' Yaar?'' and regularly collaborated with Ramarajan in the late 1980s.
