Kabul Eagles ( Pashto/ Dari: ''Kābəl Bāzān'') is one of eight regional level first-class cricket teams in Afghanistan. The team, based in the country's capital city Kabul, was created to join the five regional sides in the Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament, which has first-class status from 2017 onwards. Rahmanullah Gurbaz ( ps, رحمان الله ګربز; born 28 November 2001) is an Afghan cricketer. He made his international debut for Afghanistan in September 2019. His father and mother are of Gurbaz tribe from Afghanistan. In January 2021, he became the first batsman for Afghanistan to score a century on debut in a One Day International (ODI) match. Gus Logie
Augustine Lawrence Logie (born 28 September 1960), commonly known as Gus Logie, is a former West Indies and Trinidad and Tobago cricketer and is currently an international cricket coach. Logie played in the dominant West Indies team of the 1980s as a batsman, though he was almost equally well known as a strong fielder. He made 52 Test appearances and played in 158 One Day Internationals, scoring three international centuries. Kabul International Cricket Stadium ( ps, د کابل الکوزی نړيوال کرکټ لوبغالی, previously known as the Alokozay Kabul International Cricket Stadium) is a cricket stadium in Kabul, Afghanistan, which opened in 2011 and has a seating capacity of 6,000 spectators. The Shpageeza Cricket League (SCL, also known as the Alokozay Cola Shpageeza Cricket League for sponsorship reasons and Etisalat Sixes T20) ( ps, شپږیزه کرکټ لیګ) is a Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by the Afghanistan Cricket Board every year in Afghanistan. Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament
Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament is a four-day cricket tournament in Afghanistan played between five regional teams, each representing a number of Afghan provinces. Up to and including the 2016–17 Tournament, the matches were not given first-class status. However, at an International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting in February 2017, first-class status was awarded to all future matches, starting with the 2017–18 tournament.
