Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal
''Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal'' () is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Vignesh Shivan. It was produced by him under Rowdy Pictures, and co-produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar under Seven Screen Studio. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha in the lead roles alongside Prabhu, Kala Master, Redin Kingsley, Lollu Sabha Maaran and Shihan Hussaini. It follows a perpetually unlucky man whose luck changes when he falls in love with two women. The film was initially announced in 2016. However, it was stalled, and Vignesh moved on to other projects. In February 2020, Vignesh re-announced the film. Principal photography commenced that December. It was shot in several locations including Chennai, Hyderabad, Pondicherry, Mysore, and wrapped by late-March 2022. Vignesh Shivan
Vignesh Shivan (born 18 September 1985) is an Indian film director, film producer, screenwriter, actor and lyricist who works in Tamil cinema, making films of various genres. Personal life Shivan studied at Santhome Higher Secondary School, Mylapore, Chennai and then studied at Vanavani Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Shivan and actress Nayanthara have been in a relationship ever since they worked together on ''Naanum Rowdy Dhaan'' in 2015. They announced their engagement in 2021, and got married on 9 June 2022 at Sheraton Grand in Mahabalipuram. The couple had twin boys on 26 September 2022 through surrogacy. Shihan Hussaini
Shihan Hussaini (28 December 1958 – 25 March 2025) was an Indian karate expert, who also worked as an actor in Tamil-language films. His brother Ishaq Hussaini has also appeared in Tamil films. He was also widely covered in Indian media for his acts of devotion towards politician Jayalalithaa and for his world record attempts. Wrap, as used in the phrase "That's a wrap", has been used by directors since the early days of the film industry to signal the end of filming.
