Kaanch Ka Pul
''Kaanch Ka Pul'' () is a 1981 Pakistani television long play written by Younus Javed and produced and directed by Mohammad Nisar Hussain. Synopsis The story is about Shahida, a doctor who runs her own clinic which she opened to treat the disadvantaged. She lives with her mother, Begum Nasir, who is the only one that understands Shahida. Begum Nasir plans to marry Shahida off to someone kind and rich, but she refuses it due to her past. It is known that Shahida's parents have divorced for personal reasons and that Shahida chose to live with her mother. Margaret, a nurse and close friend of Shahida, tries to assure Shahida about her situation. Later her father comes to meet Shahida, much to Begum Nisar's dismay, and Nisar tells Shahida that he will be moving to California. Then Shahida's cousin Yousaf returns from abroad and wants to marry Shahida, but she refuses him because he once left her when they were getting married by their parents. Roohi Bano
Roohi Bano () (10 August 1951 – 25 January 2019) was a Pakistani actress who was known for her roles in television dramas ''Kiran Kahani'', ''Zard Gulab'', and ''Darwaza''. She along with Uzma Gillani, Tahira Naqvi and Khalida Riyasat dominated Pakistan's television screens from the 1970s, to the 1990s.
