Kaliane Mong Huxham Bradley is an English writer and editor. She is known for her debut novel ''The Ministry of Time'' (2024). Early life and education Kaliane Mong Huxham Bradley was born in Walthamstow, East London, to a British father and a Cambodian Khmer mother. Bradley grew up in a small house with a maternal older half-brother and younger twin sisters. The family moved out to Essex when Bradley was 10 for more space. Bradley attended a private secondary school. She graduated from University College London (UCL) with a degree in English literature. Career In 2012, Bradley joined ''Granta'' magazine as an editorial assistant. She was later promoted to junior editor and commissioning editor, and worked for Granta's imprint Portobello. Waterstones, formerly Waterstone's, is a British book retailer that operates 311 shops, mainly in the United Kingdom and also other nearby countries. As of February 2014, it employs around 3,500 staff in the UK and Europe. An average-sized Waterstones shop sells a range of approximately 30,000 individual books, as well as stationery and other related products. Alice Birch is a British playwright and screenwriter. Birch has written several plays, including ''Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again.'' for which she was awarded the George Devine Award for Most Promising New Playwright, and ''Anatomy of a Suicide'' for which she won the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. Birch was also the screenwriter for the film ''Lady Macbeth'' and has written for such television shows as ''Succession'' and '' Normal People''. Wioletta Grzegorzewska, or Wioletta Greg (1974) is a Polish poet and writer nominated for The Man Booker Prize. Life Wioletta born in a small village Rzeniszów in Jurassic Highland in Poland. In 2006, she left her country and moved to the Isle of Wight. She spent there ten years in Ryde. She lives now in Lewes. Works Between 1998 – 2012 she published several poetry volumes, novels as well as a novella ''Swallowing Mercury'', in which she's covering her childhood and the experience of growing up in Communist Poland.
