KVTV
KVTV, virtual and VHF digital channel 13, was a CBS-affiliated television station licensed to Laredo, Texas, United States. The station was owned by Eagle Creek Broadcasting. On July 1, 2015, Gray Television, owner of NBC affiliate KGNS-TV, bought the non-license assets of KVTV and established KYLX-LP, to which it moved all of KVTV's program streams. KVTV then ceased broadcasting after nearly 42 years. The KVTV full-power license was surrendered on September 19, 2016. KYLX-LD (channel 13) is a low-power television station in Laredo, Texas, United States, affiliated with CBS and The CW Plus. It is owned by Gray Television alongside dual NBC/ABC affiliate KGNS-TV (channel 8) and Telemundo affiliate KXNU-LD (channel 10). The stations share studios on Del Mar Boulevard (near I-35) in northern Laredo, while KYLX-LD's transmitter is located on Shea Street north of downtown. History KYLX-LD first went on the air on July 1, 1999 as K55HW on channel 55, and was owned by Border Media Partners. KGNS-TV (channel 8) is a television station in Laredo, Texas, United States, affiliated with NBC and ABC. It is owned by Gray Television alongside low-power dual CBS/ CW+ affiliate KYLX-LD (channel 13) and Telemundo affiliate KXNU-LD (channel 10). The stations share studios on Del Mar Boulevard (near I-35) in northern Laredo, while KGNS-TV's transmitter is located northwest of the city. Laredo ( ; ) is a city in and the county seat of Webb County, Texas, United States, on the north bank of the Rio Grande in South Texas, across from Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Northwest Broadcasting, Inc. was a television broadcasting company based in Okemos, Michigan, United States, a suburb of Lansing. The broadcasting group owned or operated twelve television stations in six markets, through subsidiaries such as Broadcasting Communications, Mountain Communications, Stainless Broadcasting, and Bristlecone Broadcasting. KZTV (channel 10) is a television station in Corpus Christi, Texas, United States, affiliated with CBS. It is owned by SagamoreHill Broadcasting, which maintains a shared services agreement (SSA) with the E. W. Scripps Company, owner of dual NBC/ CW+ affiliate KRIS-TV (channel 6) and low-power dual Telemundo affiliate/independent station K22JA-D (channel 47), for the provision of certain services. The stations share studios on Artesian Street in downtown Corpus Christi, while KZTV's transmitter is located between Petronila and Robstown.
