KTAM (1240 AM) is an American radio station licensed to Bryan, Texas. The station airs a Regional Mexican music format, branded as "Radio Alegria". KTAM is owned and operated by Brazos Valley Communications, LLC. KORA aired a Country and Western format for many years. On May 31, 1966, KORA-FM was signed on as the sister station to KORA, which continues to program the heritage Country format as the continuation to this facility. Bryan is a city in and the county seat of Brazos County, Texas, United States. It is located in the heart of the Brazos Valley (East and Central Texas). As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 83,980. Bryan borders the city of College Station, which lies to its south.
