KRVR
KRVR (105.5 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Copperopolis, California, and serving the Modesto and Stockton radio markets. Its studios and offices are on North Emerald Avenue in Modesto. The transmitter is on Route 4 between Copperopolis and Telegraph City, on a ridge 1600 feet above the Central Valley. KRVR airs a classic hits radio format branded as "The River". The station's name refers to several rivers in the broadcast area: San Joaquin, Sacramento, Stanislaus and Tuolumne. KRVR is the Modesto area's only locally owned radio station. History KRVR was the first radio station licensed to Calaveras County when it signed on in 1995. KCQQ
KCQQ (106.5 FM, “Big 106.5”) is a radio station licensed to Davenport, Iowa, with a classic hits format. The station broadcasts with a power of 100,000 watts from a transmitter located in rural Scott County near LeClaire. KCQQ is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc., with studios located in Davenport. Other stations located in the same complex are KMXG, KUUL, WLLR-FM, WFXN and WOC. KCQQ is not licensed to broadcast in the HD Radio (digital) format. Smooth Jazz
Smooth jazz is commercially oriented crossover jazz music. Although often described as a "genre", it is a debatable and highly controversial subject in jazz music circles. As a radio format, however, smooth jazz radio became the successor to easy listening music on radio station programming from the mid-1970s through the early 1990s. Tuolumne River
The Tuolumne River ( Yokutsan: ''Tawalimnu'') flows for through Central California, from the high Sierra Nevada to join the San Joaquin River in the Central Valley. Stanislaus River
The Stanislaus River is a tributary of the San Joaquin River in north-central California in the United States. The main stem of the river is long, and measured to its furthest headwaters it is about long.
