Terry Im (born May 13, 1989), better known by his stage name KRNFX (stylised krNfx; also pronounced "Korean FX"), is a Korean-Canadian beatboxer and singer. He is perhaps best known for his participation in the first season of '' Canada's Got Talent'' in 2012, as well as winning the first Canadian Beatbox Championships in 2010 and his YouTube videos. Early life Born in Toronto to South Korean parents, Terry grew up in a really musical family. His father played piano, his mom sang in the church choir, and both of his sisters played instruments. His dad would play piano around the house and have classical music on the radio. He was completely immersed in music, 24/7. Some of Im's first memories of beatboxing were of him mimicking his father's piano playing and singing. ''Epic Rap Battles of History'' (ERB) is a YouTube web series and music project created by Peter "Nice Peter" Shukoff and Lloyd "EpicLLOYD" Ahlquist. The series pits historical and pop culture figures against one another in a rap battle format. The characters portrayed are often determined by suggestions from viewers in the comments sections of the channel's videos. Shukoff and Ahlquist write each song themselves, researching the subject in order to find obscure details to use as references in the lyrics, although guest stars featured in the battles as well as certain Patreon subscribers have also contributed to the writing process. Walk off the Earth is a Canadian indie pop band from Burlington, Ontario, Burlington, Ontario. The group is known for its music videos of covers and originals. Measha Brueggergosman–Lee (née Gosman; June 28, 1977) is a Canadian soprano who performs both as an opera singer and concert artist. She has performed internationally and won numerous awards. The Beatbox Battle World Championship (BBBWC) is hosted triennially (every three years) hosted by Beatbox Battle Tv in a week-long festival held in Berlin, Germany. Face-to-face beatbox battles take place in five categories:- individual male, individual female, tag-team, loop station and crew battle.
