KMBI-FM (107.9 MHz) is a non-profit radio station in Spokane, Washington. It broadcasts a Christian talk and teaching radio format and is owned by the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago. KMBI-FM serves as the flagship station of the Moody Radio Northwest network, serving Eastern Washington, Northeastern Oregon, Northern Idaho, Western Montana and Northwestern Wyoming. Shaw Direct is a direct broadcast satellite television distributor in Canada and a subsidiary of the telecommunications company Shaw Communications. As of 2010, Shaw Direct had over 900,000 subscribers. It broadcasts on Ku band from two communications satellites: Anik G1 at 107.3°W, and Anik F2 at 111.1°W. Anik F1R, which had been in service for 15 years, reached its end of life in the latter part of 2020, when the services on this satellite were migrated between the remaining two. Freeman, Washington
Freeman is an unincorporated community in Spokane County, Washington, United States. It is notable as being the location of the public elementary, middle and high schools serving a large area of rural southeast Spokane County. History Washington Brick and Lime, headquartered a few miles to the north in Mica, had a plant in Freeman in the late 1800s. Around the turn of the century, a number of businesses opened in Freeman. None remain in business today, but the site of the C.P. Charles Rozell Swindoll (born October 18, 1934) is an evangelical Christian pastor, author, educator, and radio preacher. He founded ''Insight for Living'', headquartered in Frisco, Texas, which airs a radio program of the same name on more than 2,000 stations around the world in 15 languages. He is currently senior pastor at Stonebriar Community Church, in Frisco, Texas.
