Cedevita d.o.o. is a Croatian company which produces a wide range of teas, instant drinks, and dietetic products. A notable owner of the company was the Croatian pharmaceutical company Pliva d.d. Since 2001 Cedevita has been part of the Atlantic Grupa. Background and history Cedevita began production in 1929 in Borongaj, Zagreb (where the main factory still operates) as a branch of the Swiss company Wander AG to produce dietetic products. In 1947, a new facility was built in Trogir for processing of plants and manufacturing of teas. The company sponsors KK Cedevita, a basketball club in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Cedevita instant vitamin drinks The first instant vitamin drink (Orange flavored Cedevita) was created in 1969, however, production did not start until 1970. 2011–12 Eurocup Basketball
The 2011–12 Eurocup Basketball season was the tenth edition of Europe's second-tier level transnational competition for men's professional basketball clubs, the EuroCup. The EuroCup is the European-wide league level that is one level below the EuroLeague. It ran from September 27, 2011, until April 15, 2012. The winner of this competition earned a place at the group stage of the next season's EuroLeague. Teams allocation Distribution 32 teams participated in the Eurocup Regular Season: * A total of 10 teams from nine countries qualified directly to the 32-team regular season through their results in domestic competitions, or through a wild card. * Another 8 teams earned their place at the group stage by winning a qualifying round. Pallacanestro Treviso, named Benetton Basket due to a long running sponsorship by the Benetton Group and widely referred to as Benetton Treviso, is an Italian youth basketball club based in Treviso, Veneto. The club was previously a successful professional club until 2012 when the Benetton Group decided to withdraw from professional basketball, though they retained the youth section at La Ghirada, the sports complex they own. Palaverde
Palaverde is an indoor sporting arena located in Villorba near Treviso, Italy. Opened in September 1983 it has been used mainly for basketball and volleyball. History The Palaverde was constructed under the impulsion and with the funding of the Benetton Group. The professional basketball club they owned, Pallacanestro Treviso, had had to play in Padua because the arenas in Treviso, such as the Natatorio sports complex, were not up to the standards of the professional basketball leagues. Tired of the slow progress, if not end, of the municipality's efforts to offer a suitable arena, the Benetton family proceeded to have the arena built. BC UNICS (russian: БК УНИКС) is a professional basketball club in Kazan, Russia, that plays in the VTB United League, and formerly played in the EuroLeague.
