HT Premijer Liga
The Favbet Premijer liga (, ), also known as simply Premijer liga, is the first tier level men's professional basketball league in Croatia. It began in 1991, following the breakup of SFR Yugoslavia and therefore the Yugoslav League, and is organized by the Croatian Basketball Federation. Favbet Premijer liga, which is played under FIBA rules, currently consists of 12 teams. The most successful club is KK Cibona with 19 championship titles. History Prior to 1991, clubs from Croatia played in the Yugoslav First Federal League. Sinj
Sinj () is a List of cities and towns in Croatia, town in the continental part of Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia. As of the 2021 Croatian census, 2021 census, the population was 23,500 people, of which 10,800 inhabited its urban core. Sinj is known for a knights' tournament of Sinjska alka, which has been held since the beginning of the 18th century as a sign of victory over the Ottoman Empire, and for the shrine of Our Lady of Sinj. The urban center of Sinj is a Register of Cultural Goods of Croatia, protected cultural heritage site. Stipe Modrić
Stipe Modrić (; born May 8, 1979) is a Slovenian professional basketball coach who is the assistant coach for Ilirija of the Slovenian Second League. Born in Sinj to a Croat father, Modrić played at the position of forward and power forward. During his career, he had played for Alkar, Union Olimpija, Ludwigsburg, Geoplin Slovan, Cedevita, Anwil Włocławek and Astrum Levice. On December 11, 2012, he returned to Geoplin Slovan. Modrić won the 2000–01 and 2001–02 Slovenian national championship with Olimpija.
