KHOJ (AM)
KHOJ (1460 kHz) is an AM radio station licensed to St. Charles, Missouri, and serving the Greater St. Louis area. It is owned by the Covenant Network and it broadcasts a Catholic radio format. Some programming comes from the EWTN Radio Network. The studios are on Hampton Avenue in St. Louis. By day, KHOJ is powered at 12,000 watts. But to avoid interference to other stations on 1460 AM, at night power is greatly reduced to 210 watts. The AM transmitter is located north of St. Charles. Zella Jackson Price (born c. 1940) is an American gospel singer whose career has spanned 50 years. She performed with many St. Louis–based entertainers and earned national recognition, performing in her own show at Carnegie Hall in 1985. She was one of the pioneer black announcers on St. Louis radio and was the feature of a documentary about her life created by Chicago TV channel 28. She sang in several movies, including ''Say Amen, Somebody'' (1982), a documentary about Willie Mae Ford Smith's life, and the HBO mini-series ''Angels in America''. KADY (Missouri)
KADY was a commercial Clear-channel station#Daytimers, daytime-only Radio broadcasting, radio station that was licensed to St. Charles, Missouri, and served Greater St. Louis. It broadcast on from April 3, 1958, to January 20, 1965. History KADY signed on at 1 p.m. on April 3, 1958. The station broadcast with 5,000 watts during the day from a tower along Missouri Route 94, State Highway 94 in Boschertown, Missouri, Boschertown. Within three months of signing on, William R.
