KF Ada Velipojë
KF Ada Velipojë was an Albanian football club which was based in the city of Velipojë which is situated in Shkodër County. The club's home ground was the Fusha Sportive Adriatik. History The club was founded on 6 March 1996 as a sports society by Lazër Matia, Alfred Pjetri, Filip Kercunga, Marash Qytetza and Prend Përndreca. The name Ada derives from the Adriatic island of Ada Bojana in nearby Montenegro. A previous club had existed in the city under the name KS Velipoja, which was run by the municipality before funding was stopped and the team dissolved. KF Ada first competed in the Albanian Third Division, but they soon achieved promotion to the Albanian Second Division. In the 2004–05 season KF Ada reached the playoffs of the Second Division and beat KS Burreli 2–1 in the final to achieve promotion to the Albanian First Division. Klubi Sportiv Burreli is an Albanian football club based in Burrel. Their home ground is the Liri Ballabani Stadium and they compete in the Kategoria e Parë. History The club was founded in 1928, but was not an organised club until 1935 under the name ''Deja Burrel''. The name was changed in 1945 to ''31 Korriku Burreli'', which was again changed in 1951 to ''Puna Burrel''. Between 1958 and 1991 the club was renamed ''31 Korriku Burrel'' before changing to its current name ''Burreli''. The club competed in the lower leagues of Albania until 1981 when they participated in the Albanian National Championship for the first time. KFF Vllaznia is an Albanian women's professional football club based in Shkodër. The club is considered by UEFA to be the successor club to Ada, who disbanded in 2013. They play their homes games at the Reshit Rusi Stadium and compete in Kategoria Superiore Femra. 2011–12 UEFA Women's Champions League
The 2011–12 UEFA Women's Champions League was the eleventh edition of the European women's championship for football clubs. The final was held in the Olympiastadion in Munich, Germany on 17 May 2012. As in the past two Champions League seasons, the eight highest ranked nations got two entries to the tournament. The point of entry was changed this season however. In the previous years the national runners-up had to enter the qualification round. With those teams always easing through their groups, with the exception of Umeå in 2010–11, UEFA decided to give those a direct entry to the round of 32. As a result, eight nations which under previous rules would have had direct entry to that round now had to go through the qualifying stage. Kategoria Superiore Femra, known officially as ''Abissnet Superiore Femra'', is the highest division of women's association football, women's football in Albania. The league is the female equivalent to the men's Kategoria Superiore. The current season is contested by 10 clubs. History Although football is considered the most popular sport in Albania, women's association football, women's football had historically been non-evident in the country until 2007, when the first ever national tournament was held in Sarandë, from 15 to 18 August, as a promotional event for women's football. The Albanian Women's Cup is the annual cup competition of women's football in Albania. Established in 2009, it is the second most important tournament after the National Championship.
