KFMP-LP, VHF analog channel 6, was a low-powered television station licensed to Lubbock, Texas, United States. The station was owned by Venture Technologies Group, LLC. History Founded on December 9, 2004, as K06OC by Venture Technologies. It never made it on the air until four years later. Beginning in February 2009, KFMP-LP used the audio signal available to analog television channel 6 (87.75 MHz) to broadcast as ''Lubbock's KFMP, Channel 8-7-7... The Only Alternative'' with an alternative format. KQBU-FM (93.3 MHz "TUDN Radio Houston") is a commercial radio station broadcasting a Spanish language sports radio format, simulcast on KLAT in Houston. KQBU-FM is licensed to Port Arthur, Texas, and primarily serves the Houston- Beaumont-Port Arthur area. It is owned by the Uforia Audio Network (DBA Univison Houston Local Media) and carries programming from the co-owned TUDN Radio Network. The station airs Spanish-language broadcasts of the Houston Astros baseball team, the Houston Rockets basketball team, and the Houston Dynamo FC MLS soccer team. The radio studios are in the Univision Building at 5100 Southwest Freeway in Uptown Houston and the transmitter is in Devers, Texas.
