KEGH
KEGH (107.1 FM) is an American radio station broadcasting a Spanish adult contemporary format. It is licensed to Woodruff, Utah, United States, and owned by Michael V. Call, through licensee Aerostar Communications, LLC. In February 2009, KEGH was a simulcast of KEGA, The Eagle 101.5, according to the Simmons Media corporate web site. KEGH has been granted a U.S. Federal Communications Commission construction permit to change the city of license to Woodruff, move to a new transmitter site, move to 107.1 MHz, increase ERP to 89,000 watts and decrease HAAT to 647 meters. This was completed on December 8, 2014, just before switching from the KEGA simulcast to the KALL simulcast. On July 13, 2015, KEGH switched from the KALL simulcast to regional Mexican, branded as "La Raza". On 2016 "La Raza" didn't have the right requirements and it was taken by Broadway Media Llc. KNIV
KNIV (104.7 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a regional Mexican format. Licensed to Lyman, Wyoming, United States, it serves the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. The station is currently owned by Aerostar Communications, LLC. Throughout the late 2000s, the station went through several formats before settling on adult album alternative, and becoming "104.7 The Point". Until February 1, 2011, the station featured locally programmed music from the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and today, formerly heard on 101.9 The End (KENZ). The End in April 2010 abandoned its adult album alternative (Triple A) format and then became "Gen X Radio," playing an eclectic mix of 1990s and 2000s Top 40 music. Licensed to Oakley, Utah, United States, the station is currently owned by Dell Loy Hansen, through licensee Broadway Media LS, LLC of Salt Lake City. KRAR
Krar ( Amharic: ክራር) is a five-or-six stringed bowl-shaped lyre from Ethiopia and Eritrea. It is tuned to a pentatonic scale. A modern ''Krar'' may be amplified, much in the same way as an electric guitar or violin. The ''Krar'', along with '' Masenqo'' and the '' Washint'', is one of the most widespread musical instruments of the Amhara ethnic group. Role in Amhara society Historical In Amhara society the ''krar'' was viewed as an instrument inspired by the Devil and was therefore inferior, whereas the ''Begena'' was for praising God and seen as sacred. KUUU (92.5 FM, "92.5 The Beat") is a radio station licensed to South Jordan, Utah, serving the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. Owned by Broadway Media, the station primarily broadcasts a classic hip-hop format during the daytime hours, but transitions to a rhythmic contemporary-based playlist during the evening and overnight hours. The station's studios are located in Downtown Salt Lake City and its transmitter site is located southwest of the city on Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains.
